Le thème principal de la rencontre est la géoméetrie algébrique réelle moderne, comprenant ses interactions avec les domaines voisins que sont la topologie des variétés de basse dimension, la géométrie algébrique complexe, la géométrie symplectique et la géométrie énumerative. La rencontre sera dediée a la mémoire de Jean-Jacques Risler.
